Anastasia Deyeva
A 24-year-old former model has bagged one of Ukraine’s top political jobs – and people aren’t happy. Anastasia Deyeva has been appointed deputy interior minister which means she’ll be looking after policing and security.
Some say she’s not qualified but others say it’s just sexism because she’s young and beautiful. Meanwhile, nude photos of Deyeva have been leaked online. She’s not the first person to go into politics from a background you wouldn’t expect.
Stormy Daniels
An American porn star, she formed an exploratory committee in 2009 for a possible run in the 2010 Louisiana Senate race. On July 28, 2009, her campaign manager was the target of a car bomb attack. She would ultimately pull out of the race on April 15, 2010.
Nikki Benz
An Ukranian-Canadian porn star. In 2014, she announced her candidacy for mayor of Toronto. Unfortunately, she was not accepted as a candidate for failure to provide a current driver’s license.
Ilona Staller
Italian ex-porn actress, Ilona Staller. She’s better known as Cicciolina (which means “cuddles”) and is a former porn actress who served as a minister in the Italian parliament between 1987 and 1991.
She didn’t give up her day job during that time and continued to make porn films. It’s reported that she offered to have sex with Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein, in return for peace in the region.
Marey Carey
She started her porn career with Playboy TV and contested the 2003 gubernatorial elections in California as a publicity stunt. Carey polled 11,179 votes and came tenth in a 135 candidate race.
Moana Pozzi
Along with Ilona Staller, she founded the Love Party of Italy. The political party’s goals included legalisation of brothels, sex education and ‘love parks.’
Though nothing much became of her political career, her popularity rose. Pozzi died in 1994 at the age of 33 after returning from a trip to India.
Nora Baumberger
A Czech-born porn star, best known by her stage name Dolly Buster. She ran for European Parliament in 2004 as a candidate of a minority Czech political party.
Emilia Cucciniello
An Italian porn star, best known by her stage name Milly D’Abbraccio. In 2008, she took part in the Rome City Council elections as a candidate of the Socialist Party. In 2011, she took part in local elections for Mayor of Monza as a candidate from a local party called Forza Monza.
Treading the porn to politics path followed by a few other Italian porn actresses, Milly D’Abbraccio ran for a seat in Rome’s city council in 2008.
Melody Damayo
Best known by her stage name, Mimi Miyagi. She took part in the 2006 gubernatorial election under the Republican Party. After defeat in the primaries, she changed parties, joining the Libertarian Party. Aside from her adult film career she is also famous for her Humanitarian work helping underprivileged children in the Philippines.

Best known for her debut in the cult 1972 porn film ‘Behind the Green Door’, Marilyn Chamber famously contested for the Vice President of the United States on the Personal Choice Party ticket.
