Anitta, born Larissa de Macedo Machado on March 30, 1993, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and occasional television host. Anitta has also won eight MTV Europe Music Awards and was the first Brazilian artist to be named Best Latin American Act.
Anitta’s career took off after the release of her debut single, “Meiga e Abusada” in 2012, leading her to sign a recording contract with Warner Music Brazil in January 2013.
